Our Relationship

Angel and Joshua’s paths were intertwined long before their love story began. Angel moved from New Orleans to Joshua’s home city of Houston when she was six years old. Both of them enjoyed a Muslim upbringing in the Nation of Islam in Houston, where they built a bond as great friends. As they grew older, their bond grew stronger, which led them to embark on a wonderful courtship to learn more about one another. On June 14, 2025, they took their courtship to the next level and became engaged.

The next step in their journey of love will take place on November 2nd in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where they will become husband and wife.
